Hi everyone. Firstly can I say what a blessing this website and the people on it have been to me over the past three or four years! I don't know what I would have done without your expertise.

I am now wondering you could help me with burning a DVD.

I have an AVI file that I would like to burn to a DVD so I can watch it in my bedroom on my DVD player.
It's a movie that I have downloaded.
Now how do I go about doing this?

Firstly, what software do I require to convert the AVI file into whatever it needs to be, and where can I find the software.
Secondly, what software do I require to burn this new file to a DVD.
Thirdly, how do I make sure it is a DVD that I can then watch, and it's not just a data DVD?

Thanks guys!
