Lost Desktop

It has happened over the last couple days...when I close a program, either on-line or off, my desktop backdrop appears (picture of my motorcycle)

but nothing else...just the picture

...can't seem to bring up anything else...End up doing a hard shutdown and restarting the computer (Not good

). Anyone got any ideas on what is happening?

Try doing a system restore to a date before it started happening, and if not i would suggest goiing to the malware removal forum and get your computer checked out.
