if anyone knows onw, looking for a good FREE driver download site that maybe has a scan option also.

there isn't such a thing except for Microsoft windows update. There are two software packages that I know of that can look for and update drivers. Both are problematic at best and such we don't recommend them.

Something that's pretty good at detecting hardware and free to download is Everest Home Edition. If you print the page and keep it, it has other valuable data such as your software code keys.
