Hi, was wondering if someone can help. windows 98 screen resolution problems. I dont know that much about computers, but have followed what ive found on the net, but its not working. Any ideas? The resolution is set at 640x480. Have gone to control panel, clicked on display, then settings. Tried changing to 1024x768 and clicked on apply/ok. said windows had to be restarted to display new settings, which i did, but settings still at 640x480. (pages im viewing are not fitting in to screen area - have to keep scrolling. Any ideas would be really appreciated. Thanx :tazz:

Hi,

Did it say that the computer had to be restarted, or that the settings will be put back to what they were before if you didn't click Ok?
