MP3 player - error message

When I try to add music to my mp3 player, I am getting this message - The selected file could not be copied. There is not enough free space on the device.

My player isn't full. Because I got that message, I did delete some files just to see if that would help, but I still received the same message. My mp3 player is a Sandisk, Sansa Clip and is only a couple months old.

If anyone has any suggestions on a solution, I would really appreciate it.

I checked the thread to see if anyone else had posted this problem...if I missed it somewhere, please accept my apologies.
