My pc has been acting up. The desktop color is changing, my machine crashes every now and then, and it's really slow.

For slow computer issues, read here: Help! My computer is slow!
For your color issue, this is a hardware related issue, so it's better to start a new thread about that in the hardware part of this forum. Don't post a HijackThislog there as HijackThislogs are only when there's a malware related issue and this doesn't apply for you, since there's nothing strange/suspicious in your log. -, Just give a detailed description of your problem in the new thread.

Hmm, I still think it's a malware issue. My antivirus gave me some popups re adware/malware. I'm at work now, so I'll only be able to post those details later this evening.

Yes, details are always important, because the more info you give us, the better we can help you. Also tell us when exactly these problems started.
Did you install a program lately/updated a program? Was it after performing a Windows Update, a hardware related update etc etc...
Still, I don't think that the problems you are describing are malware related, because that should be clearly present in your HijackThislog. Also, you said that your Antivirus GAVE you popups related with malware/adware, so I assume it doesn,'t find anything anymore now? Extra note - I see you have a-squared present as Antimalware scanner - This is one of the scanners I actually do not really recommend it since it gives a lot of false positives.
