I have been nabbed by the Trojan-Spy.HTML.Smitfraud.c spyware.

I was following along through the day in other posts looking for clues, but I can't beat this thing.

I downloaded the background fix from greynight17 (for a WINXP user - I am on Win2000) : http://www.greyknigh...pairDesktop.reg and it removed the blue screen and words - but now my screen is just solid black - I can't right click on Desktop or get beyond the solid black screen.

Updated Windows OS, ran AdwareSE & RegistryFix.

Still black screen, no IE access, and I can only access programs by using Task Manager to RUN a NEW TASK.

HiJackThis File attached.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
DB
