I'm new here, but I have a very weird problem. My computer will not run when it stands right side up. Whenever I start it like this, it turns on, then it shuts down after about two seconds, before it XP loads. Whe n I turn it on it's side, however, it runs normally. I have no idea what is going on. Any help? Thanks.

just a thought, did you look and see if any wires or cables are lose? could be the problem

Have to agree with aroura
Check everything including the hardware attached to the mother board
