No, it still doesn't work. Same problem.

Or wait, I'll try again.

No worries 20LEGEND,

Just let me know how you get on.

There are alternatives.

Might take a while.

Hello again 20LEGEND,

Actually, it's just occurred to me, try this.

Panda only works if you are using Internet Explorer.

Please go HERE to run Panda's ActiveScan
" Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
" A new window will open...click the Check Now button
" Enter your Country
" Enter your State/Province
" Enter your e-mail address and click send
" Select either Home User or Company
" Click the big Scan Now button
" If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
" It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
" When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan
" When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location. Post the contents of the ActiveScan report

I am doing a free scan without registering, is that fine?

It should be free.

If it works without registering and you can post a report back here, well and good.

It has been around 5 hours and only 19% of the scan has been done. I will leave it overnight but I think it will take me more than a day to finish it.

As I said, my PC's working slower than usual therefore I am guessingg the scanning is slow too.

Is there any other faster way?

Report till now:

Files scanned: 260465
Files infected: 3
Suspicious files detected: 0
Vulnerabilities detected: 1

Thank you,
20LEGEND

No. These scans are comprehensive and can take a very long time.

Catch you tomorrow.
