delprot.sys C:\WINDOWS\isrvs Trojan Horse
edmond.exe C:\WINDOWS\isrvs Trojan Horse
sysupd.dll C:\WINDOWS\isrvs Download. Trojan
Third I have gotten the blue screen twice indicating a system error and then the computor shuts down.
I have also ran adware scan.

Hi there,

You have several different infections on your system.
Also Look2Me, but we'll deal with that one later. First we are going to get rid of the other baddies.

I strongly suggest you print out next instructions, or save them in notepad, because you'll have a lot of steps to take (in the right order) and you also have to work in safe mode, so this page wouldn't be available then.

* Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

* Download LSPfix and save it to the Desktop and unzip it.
Run LSPfix and place a check against the I know what I am doing checkbox.

Highlight every instance of
aklsp.dll and move them from the Keep to the Remove panel. Be sure to move nothing other than the files listed below!

When done, click on Finish to exit the program; do not use the X in the top right-hand corner as nothing will happen!

* Please download ewido security suite here: http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Install and update it. Don't let it scan yet!!

* Reboot into Safe Mode`:
°To get into the Safe mode as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key". Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

* Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them if still present:

C:\WINDOWS\isrvs <== this folder
c:\windows\system32\dtorlw.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
C:\WINDOWS\tujwo.exe
C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\DrPmon.dll
C:\WINDOWS\delprot.ini
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\delprot.sys
C:\Program Files\ISTsvc <== this folder

Go to start > run and type: sc delete SvcProc <OK>
Again in start > run, type: sc delete delprot <OK>

*Go to start > run and type: cleanmgr and click ok.
Let it scan your system for files to remove.
Make sure Temporary Files, Temporary Internet Files, and Recycle Bin are the only things checked.
Press OK to remove them.

* Still in safe mode; Perform a full scan with ewido.
Let it delete everything it is finding.
When finished, you'll get the option to make a log.
Save this log, because I'll need that later.

* Reboot your system back to normal mode.

Post back a fresh HijackThis log with the log from ewido and I'll take another look.

If you had any problems with deleting files or noticed any other problems during your fix, let me also know in your next reply.

Hello,

It seems like you didn't post the full hijackthislog, because I'm missing some O23-items.
Ewido did a great job in here, because according to your hijackthislog, it took care of the Look2Me too. We'll find out later.

Anyway, let's check something else now, because I think the Nail.exe is still present... and I need some extra info if there are still some other files hidden.

Download Findit
Unzip it to your desktop. Make sure the FindIt's.bat and XFind.com are together in the same UNZIPPED folder!

Doubleclick FindIt's.bat and post the log you get in your next reply.

Hello Debbie,

Almost there. Now let's fix the aurora-popups:

Search for next file and delete it:

C:\WINDOWS\IQOIPMU.EXE

If you can't delete in in normal mode, delete it in safe mode.

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

O2 - BHO: BolgerObj Class - {302A3240-4805-4a34-97D7-1645A0B08410} - C:\WINDOWS\Bolger.dll (file missing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: ThemeManager - C:\WINDOWS\system32\lvnu0959e.dll (file missing)

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Open Notepad, and copy and paste next bolded:

Save this as cleanup.reg choose to save as *all files and place it on your desktop.
Doubleclick on it and when it's asking you to add the contents to the registry, click yes/ok.

When done, let's check if Look2Me is also fixed here by ewido, so..

Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

http://www.atribune....oads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads....org/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Don't worry, just skip that step.

I made it for you instead.
Download the next attachement fix.zip
Unzip it and doubleclick fix.reg
It'll ask you if you want to add the contents to the registry. Click yes/ok

Hi Debbie,

OK.. first we need to restore your winlogon notify-key:

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat
Select option #4 by typing 4 and then pressing enter.

Then select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Hey miekiemoes

Here is the log for the L2mfix when I selected option #2. I also have received a log when I selected option #4, this is saved if you need that as well, just let me know and I will send that over to you.

Hello Debbie,

Everything looks clean again! Well done!!
L2Mfix restored your default Winlogon Notify Keys together with some other keys.
And deleted the bad file. :tazz:

You had a nice cocktail of baddies on your system before.. and we succeeded to get rid of them. How are things running now?

It's better to perform an antispywarescan with an updated Adaware SE and spybot s&d to get rid of the leftovers. If you don't have those programs installed, you can find the downloadlocations in my sig.

An important thing to do is please disable your systemrestore.(note: this will delete all your system restore points and malware that were present in it).
How to disable system restore in XP
Reboot.. and after rebooting, enable it again, so a new systemrestorepoint will be made. A clean one now! ;)

To keep this clean in the future, I would suggest the following things:

Install Spywareblaster
SpywareBlaster doesn`t scan and clean for so-called spyware, but prevents it from being installed in the first place. It blocks the popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage.

Let your antispywarescanner(s) scan frequently and don't forget to update before.

And I do suggest you perform an online virusscan once in a while. (Etrust and/or Bitdefender). Because what one virusscanner can't find another one maybe can.
Also make sure that your virusscanner, the one that is installed on your system is always up to date!

Make sure your windows has the latest updates: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

More info on how to prevent malware you can also find here (By Tony Klein)

Happy surfing again!
