Hello, I'm hopinng someone might be able to give me some advice on what to do. I recently let my trend micro and spy sweeper expire, now i run AVG free. Since i quit using TM and SS my computer has been running like its 100 years old. It is a Dell Inspiron 9300, Intel pentium M processor 1.60GHz, 512mb RAM, running MS windows XP SP3. My pop-up blocker wil be at around 300 blocked in less than a day. Basically i'm wondering what i can do to diagnose the problem or atleast get an idea of whats going on. I know there are some scanning tools out there but i'm not really sure on what to use. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Hello GypsyJana

Lets start with this tool, please Click Here to download HijackThis and save it onto your system.
Once installed, reopen and Select "Do a system scan and save a logfile" and post the results back to me.
