I keep getting the same error message when I try to install certain programs. "Error Creating Process, D:\DOCUMEN~1\TEMP\IXP000.TMP\update.exe> Reason Access is Denied" The same thing happens when I try to save torrent files from the internet. A few other strange things have happened to.. Like firefox uninstalling itself. Windows stopped recognizing my dvd drive. System Restore wont work properly either. Everytime I try it fails after reboot.. I don't know what to do.. no anti virus programs can find it. Thanks. Dustin

Hello whipmaster, Welcome to Geeks-To-Go.

My name is Gravity Gripp and I'll be working with you on these issues. For now, I will be reviewing your log but will be responding back soon. Also, please note that I am still in training so there may be a slight delay in my responses because I will be working with an expert on this.

I look forward to working with you :)

whipmaster, let's get a little more in-depth log here.

STEP ONE
Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.
