So I'm trying to upgrade my graphics card for a game i play called Runescape.
Here's my system.

I tried upgrade my graphics card at the ati website but all of them aren't compatible with my system which doesn't make sense.
Your operating system: Windows XP x86 5.1

Your graphics card: Microsoft Corporation GDI Generic

Your graphics card driver has the following problems:

Software Rasteriser
Unsupported OpenGL Version
No Multi-Texturing
Insufficient Texture Units
No Extended Multi-Texturing

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm trying to play it in high definition. It says the minimum requirements to use HD is...

256 Ram + 1.5Ghz CPU + Nvidia GeForce 3 or equivalent.

Thanks if you can help.

If the ATI drivers do not work or install, its more than likely you don't have an ATI card and you should download the Nvidia display drivers instead from nvidia.com. Your description would suggest you don't have the drivers for your graphics card.

Failing this you can download the Everest program and it'll tell you what card you have.
