I'm sorry I know your very busy and stricked, but My problem is ( start from beginning) running vista on 2 different hardrives, 1 is unplugged as it is infected with a trojan not sure what one as it has wiped out my winload .exe, will not let me boot into safe mode, using my vista home addition disk to repair is no help, and I have tried various statigies such as /fixboot and bootrec/rebuildbcd etc... to no avail. so I'm just wondering if there is a solid way to get winload.exe back or another question is is it possible to use my good drive as the "master" and retrieve files from the "infected" drive without infecting the "master"? Thank you for any help sorry if im in the wrong place.
