Hello.

I'm an Home XP user on an old Compaq Presario, SP2 and I use ZoneAlarm Security Suite for protection. I had the Smitfraud virus (my background turned blue and said "Warning! Spyware detected!" and the ability to change it disappeared) but I got rid of it using the tool linked to in these forums. It worked and that part is fixed.

However, two additional problems keep cropping up. First, everytime I start my computer, it says "Finding new hardware" and the New Hardware Wizard boots up even though the device is listed as 'Unknown" and there is no device attached.

Secondly, and most problematic, whenever I leave the computer to idle, after about ten minutes (I have screen saver set for 40), a blue screen pops up which gives a series of goofy messages like "Panic Stack Error" or "No_IRP_Batch" or some other gibberish. I push any key and the screen disappears and the computer goes back to normal, just like a screensaver.

Any help getting rid of this crap would be greatly appreciated.
