Please help, everytime i log onto my pc it comes up with a Rundll error what is this and how can i stop it appearing?

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu).
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):

Reboot your PC.

Hello again, i got as far as checking the fix checked boxes and went to reboot my pc, tapped F8 on the restart but dont know if it is in safe mode or not, how do i ensure that it is?
