I just built my new computer and installed the EVGA 512-P3-N873-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB VGA. I installed and upgraded to Windows XP x32 SP3, and halfway through installing the drivers for the GeForce, the screen goes black except for a blinking DOS cursor in the upper left-hand corner. After reinstalling the computer, the system hangs during the Windows boot screen. Restoring to a previous restore point allows my computer to boot up once again, but I've tried several different drivers and I get the same results. I'm not sure if it's a BIOS problem, but I checked and all my parts are compatible with the VGA. Do you know how I can remedy this situation? My system specs are below:

CPU - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66Ghz 8MB

Mobo - Gigabyte GA-EP45-EXTREME

RAM - CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800

GPU - EVGA 512-P3-N873-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB

Power Supply - Corsair TX750W 750-Watt
