Fake Virus Scanner

Last night a fake virus scanner showed up on my mother's computer (which I am sure was my fault) and it not only blocked the use of Task Manager, but also registry editing was blocked. I downloaded something to enable Registry Editing and then Task Manager (since I had to do a registry edit to even fix task manager). The problems only seem to affect my mother's account, no one elses. I got rid of the virus using Malwarebytes but now the computer is still having trouble. Sometimes sites can't be accessed and programs give error messages. Any help is greatly appreciated! I think the virus was actually Antivirus 2008. We found out Peer Guardian was blocking the programs and her weather thing. If you see anything in the log I should fix please let me know. Thanks!
