I've also been hit by whatever trojan is causing a flurry of pop-ups. I've run numerous apps to try to kill it, but am still getting them.
I've followed the instructions given to Brubur [directly below] and have completed Step 1 (download and run ATF Cleaner), Step 2 (download and run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware) and Step 3 (Deckard's System Scanner-- DSS). All seemed to run smoothly.
With your permission, I'd like to post the scan results for analysis.
