Found this site this evening, hoping to find good news. So far, not so much. This piece of donkey dung I got here won't power on. I get as far as the power light coming on, then a beep, then the Gateway Splash screen with the Boot menu and Bios options, but that's it. It's got a 2yr old C51GU01 MOBO which according to other posts here, is as useless as boobs on a nun. I figure it's shot. Is there any way I can replace this MOBO with a comparable one and continue to use the existing case, CPU, hardware. etc. or does such a monster exist ? If not, is it possible to use a different MOBO and still use the CPU from this thing ? It seems the CPU doesn't sit the same as regular CPU's do. Any thoughts ? BTW, love the site, glad I found it.
