Hi,
My problem began with the BSOD. I decided I had a bad memory module so I replaced both modules and that stopped the BSOD but now my computer is terribly slow. Task manager shows 100% CPU most of the time. Explorer had been using most of the CPU but now it seems to be taskmanager. I uninstalled the video driver and wound up installing what may be the original driver from Dell because I couldn't find a current driver from ATI. I believe I have a Radeon Mobility X300.
Unfortunately I ran combofix before I saw I shouldn't and I also ran VUNDOfix.
There are a couple folders such as Wifdows and window{ on C: that I don't think should be there.
There were a couple errors when I ran HijackThis but I didn't catch what they were.
I'd sure appreciate it if someone could help me resolve this. Hopefully I haven't "fixed" my computer until it's broke.
