I'm in safe mode and I can't login normally because my normal wallpaper is white and everything is frozen whenever I try to login. The loading dial stays. This is all due to the virus alert!, antivirus 2008, malware virus and I've been trying to rid myself of it. However, it only started really happening when my wallpaper script started malfunctioning and I couldn't restore it.

Right now, I can't use system restore. I can't use any dll's...

That thread is what I can't do..a veteran member named darth_ash

Darth_Ash:
Follow the steps below:

* Start -> Run, type
regsvr32 jscript.dll
Press <enter>
* Start -> Run, type
regsvr32 MSXML3.dll
Press <enter>

Give the programs a shot and see if they run.

I don't know if the threadmaker followed his advice but I did it none of those things ran. Both failed.

Can anyone fix either of my problems?

The blank white screen or the windows freezing? I think they're related.
