Hello everybody, my question is about keeping my old hard drive for use in a new PC.

The newer PC is running windows XP & I would like use my older saved hard drive as a slave in the new machine. It still has the Windows 98 O/S on it.

I intend to delete 98 from this drive, but have a concern that when I start up the new PC with both O/S it may cause problems.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Ron

It'll be fine. Just make sure in BIOS you tell the system to boot off the correct drive.
