Hi,

I've got a lightscribe drive in my college that I want to use. But I'm not allowed to install any programs, so no Nero, etc

Is there a standalone burning program that allows comprehensive lightscribe functions??

Thanks a bunch!

Lightscribe is a technology that uses burning software to burn the label onto the other side of the disk. It also requires installed system codecs.
Therefore if you do not have any burning software and no already-installed software, you will not be able to use the lightscribe features of the drive. Your best bet would be to bring this to the attention of the IT department.
