i got a red screen desktop from smart security and it wanted to stay. installed officescan, spware doctor, registry mechanic, ms antispyware, spybot, and adaware se. found tons of bad stuff. got my desktop back except double icons and no right click. followed posts here (thanx). :think: i got rid of nail.exe, aurora, todo, bolger, and haxdoor. still have double icons (both work, can delete one, other goes away after refresh) and am missing right-click contexts on desktop and win explorer. here's the latest hjt log:
