Thanks, Blair!

I emailed the motherboard & RAM specs to Kingston. They think it may be a compatability issue. They're sending new RAM. So, I'll pick up testing in a few days.

Hi-

I installed new RAM from Kingston today and it's doing the same things.

Again, I don't really know where to go from here. I'd appreciate your advice on how to go about testing the CPU, motherboard, etc.

I did a little searching but it didn't turn up much.

At this point I think it would be best to swap the motherboard out with a known good one, or a new one.

Do you think I have enough data to bring the system back and prove that there is definitely a hardware issue?

If you didn't read the whole post, the guy who built it for me kept blaming it on me. First, it was the room was too warm, then software I installed. I think all he did the last time I brought it to him was Windows Repair and charged me $155.00.

I plan to email him with a link to this post to note that experts looked at it and show him your guys' conclusion. Good idea? Bad idea?
