Ok I posted before that after i got a new harddrive on my toshiba laptop my dad had me install windows XP on it because he believed that the version of XP that was put on by the Toshiba recovery disk wasn't the full version. After I did that I could no longer connect to the wireless internet. I had been trying to fix it for a month. Nothing worked. Finally it was suggested to me that I just reinstall windows XP by using the recovery disk. So I did that, wiped out my harddrive again and now I am lost and have no idea what to do. I'm not that great with computers.

I have no idea how to get my wireless internet working again. I'm starting from scratch. I have no idea how to install my Netgear wireless card. I have no idea how to get some number I apparently need for an ISP? I don't know how to get the LAN connection started and i'm just really frustrated. Can anyone please help me? I have been trying so hard to get my lap top back online for over a month and i'm really confsued by all of this wireless stuff. I don't really understand it. Please anyone help I would be so grateful!

Hi
welcome to GTG
frist thing is to install the drivers for you network card if they are not installed. then you will need the disk that was made when you setup the nework on the main pc the network is running off when you have this disk on there is a file that will help you setup your networking for other computers on the network.
