Exactly what do you want to do? Using the keyboard, I know you can do a lot of stuff that you can do with a mouse, but I don't know if you can do everything that a mouse can do.

For a test run, use the Windows button (between Ctrl and Alt with the windows logo). Now use the arrows to navigate to the All Programs button. Press right then navigate down to something like Microsoft Word. Click enter. When Microsoft Word comes up, press Alt. This allows you to navigate the Microsoft Word menus. From there you can go down and exit.

There are a bunch of other tricks for navigating like pressing a letter to scroll through items that start with that letter. If this is sufficient for you then mess around to see what buttons do what.

If your looking for an actual substitution for the mouse rather then a workaround, then I can't help you with that.

Here is a link for help using the keyboard.

I know there is a certain F-button that, when pressed, lets you move the cursor manually with the arrow keys. I only know because I accidentally pressed it one day and a notification popped up. I forget exactly which button, somewhere around F5 but I can't reproduce the effect anymore. Google it if you're interested.
