Hello,
Please stop bumping your post.
Have you tried rebooting the computer?
Did you make sure that the key board is still plugged in?

Does your keyboard connect through a USB port or is it a PS2 keyboard?

I assume the mouse still works and is also USB.
Go into Device Manager and expand (click +) Keyboards. Is your keyboard shown there? If it is, right click on it and choose "Uninstall"...accept the change.
Then expand Universal Serial Bus controllers, right click on each USB Root Hub you see listed, and choose uninstall...again, accept the changes.
Reboot and see if things straighten out.

Right click on "My Computer" and choose "Properties". Click on the "Hardware" tab, then the "Device Manager" button. That will open Device Manager.

Yes...uninstall all 5 root hubs and reboot. Windows will reinstall then when it starts so your startup time will be longer.
There's a possibility here that the keyboard controller board has gone bad. Have you tried the keyboard on another computer to see if it works there?
