My laptop has been infested with:

Trojan-Clicker.Win32.Tiny.h
Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.bq
Trojan-Spy.HTML.Bankfraud.dq
Trojan-Spy.Win32.KeyLogger.aa

I have the following security software:
Symantec Antivirus 10.1.5.5000
Windows Defender
CA Anti-spyware
RogueRemover Pro
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

None of the above is capable of removing the infection.

"Infested" is a good way of putting it. You are extremely infected here. Let's get to work.

Please download SDFix and save it to your Desktop.

You should print out these instructions, or copy them to a NotePad file for reading while in Safe Mode, because you will not be able to connect to the Internet to read from this site.

Double click on SDFix.exe. It should automatically extract a folder called SDFix to your system drive (usually C:\). Please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :

• Restart your computer
• After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
• Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
• Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
• Choose your usual account.

• Open the SDFix folder and double click on RunThis.bat to start the script.
• Type Y and press Enter to begin the script.
• It will start cleaning your PC and then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
• Press any key to restart the PC.
• Your system will take longer than normal to restart as the fixtool will be removing files.
• When the desktop loads the Fixtool will complete the removal and display Finished.
• Press any key to end the script and to load your desktop icons.
• A text file should automatically open, so please copy the contents and post them here.

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**

• Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed.
• Close any open browsers.
• Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

  • Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
  • Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.

  • Close any open browsers.
  • WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it starts

Hi! and thanks a lot for your post ... I feel infected AND infested ...

Unfortunately I can't start my laptop in the safe mode, as soon as I hit enter after selecting the operating system a light blue screen appears with an error message relation to a virus infection. This screen stays on just a few seconds and takes me back to the black screen to choose the startup mode, and the only option that works is to start up normally.

What else can I do?

And one more thing ... I did go on the SDFix page and followed the instructions given if the PC doesn't boot in safe mode,

start
run
pasting: %systemdrive%\SDFix\apps\swreg IMPORT %systemdrive%\SDFix\apps\Restore_SafeBoot_WindowsXP_SP2.reg

but another error message comes up, that the system can not find SDfix.

Hi IndiGenus,

I followed your instructions and ran Conbofix in normal mode. It launches a small installation-like window that disappears in a few seconds, then the PC ask to close a Logitec application, and then a blue window appears with C:\ . and a blinking space ... it goes on without nothing else happening. I waited almost one hour but I don't understand if it's supposed to do this. Also, I am not disconnected from the internet.

Any additional advise?

**Note: Please remove the version of combofix I had you download first.

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

• If you are using Firefox, make sure that your download settings are as follows:
  
  • Tools->Options->Main tab
  • Set to "Always ask me where to Save the files".
• During the download, rename Combofix to Combo-Fix as follows:
  
  
  
  
  
  
• It is important you rename Combofix during the download, but not after.
• Please do not rename Combofix to other names, but only to the one indicated.
• Close any open browsers.
