Hope someone can help me...I've been working for a week to fix this problem. Gateway told me to erase the hard drive and start over.

When I click on 'start' and then 'search,' a window appears...the little dog runs up, but no letters or words of any type show up in the window.

Also, when I am trying to do stuff online, if I click on a calendar or 'continue,' nothing happens after a second or two of the hourglass blinking.

Hope someone can help me! Thanks

Thanks, Austin O, for replying. Right now I have the little search dog and full capablities, I think. What I don't have is the ability to hit 'continue' and leave the page. What I get is this message:

java script:ShowHide('qr_open','qr_closed');

What does it mean? Thanks again! -mom
