Is there a cord out there for this that is aroudn 8 FT long? I need a long charging cord, LOOOOL

But, of course, i am too cheap for that so i would just cut the computer end off a regular desktop power cord, then cut off the wall plug end of the H-P laptop power cord and splice them together and wrap them up with tape. May be a bit ugly but sure is a lot cheaper.

Kinda but the wrong end, hehe.. I was mainly wanting the lengthige in the box parts cord.. Not the wall part..

There is no need to bump a thread since there are people herethat are quite good with computers.

As far as you problem i have never seen longer power supply to laptop cords. Most of these cords are permenately attached to the power supply. So you best bet is to find a dead power supply somewhere and splice the 2 cords together.

There was a need to bump it. I'm in dire neeed of a cord, I need a part that will hook into http://www.provantag...ba~7CMPY05P.htm as well as the piece will took into an HP pavilion dv9000 laptop.
