1. My McAfee seems to fail at stopping or at least alert me about spyware/malware, are there any better FREE ones that you recommend?

Yup.. These are free and excellent antiviruses.. Please install ONLY ONE of them.. Your choice..

If you decided to uninstall McAfee, please use below tool instead..

2. As I stated before in a few replies ago, whenever I download something using firefox, it would lag for a minute, turn my McAfee off before I can download. Then after about 5-10 minutes after the download McAfee would be enabled again. Any particular reason why cause it never happened before?

Erm.. honestly I'm not sure why it happens.. maybe you accidently set something with McAfee perhaps.. I really don't know the answer for this one..

So my computer is clean, correct? I would like to hear it from you again

That's what the logs tell me.. Anything else? :)

I tried to use that tool you suggested for me to use, but my McAfee is an enterprise edition supplied to me by my college. Can I just remove it by Control Panel, Adding or Removing Programs?

Besides that, I think we're good to go.

Thank you for all your help, time, and effort.

:) :)

Best wishes,

Yes you can.. Just make sure you uninstall every single trace of McAfee.. Prefer to do it in Safe Mode
