Hi - I've finally made the jump from dial-up to DSL (I'm a bit slow - I didn't see the Godfather until I was 22!) and my performance has been extremely poor. I've spoken with the Tech Support folks and they are stumped. Essentially, things went faster with dial-up! It sometimes goes quickly when I first turn the computer on or if I restart it but then it peters out. I ran traces in cmd to different websites and more than 50% of the time they timed out. Speed tests are normal. I've run every concievable spyware/malware program and tried 4 different browsers and they are all the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Mike
