Hi,

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against the following:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Microsoft WinUpdate] C:\WINDOWS\system32\msupdte.exe

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.
Make sure your Internet Explorer is closed when you click Fix Checked!

Well it runs fine, it just has a little glitches and the monitor flashes on and off. My Mcafee is often disabled too and i don't know why. Sorry i'm not much help but everything is working good for the most part so it's not a big deal. I just wanted to catch anything before it turned into something big.

Mcafee is often disabled too and i don't know why

McAfee has changed a lot since last year and many people are having issues with it. You may want to read this: http://miekiemoes.bl...fee-lately.html
For your monitor problem, this looks like a hardware issue, so for that, I suggest you start a new thread in the hardware part of this forum since I don't know much about hardware anyway.
But, who knows... since McAfee causes so many problems on some computers, it may be the cause of your monitor problem as well? Interfering with a graphics driver whatever.. ?
