No matter what I try...I followed to the tee this site's procedure called "suspecting malware? start here" and nothing. In other words I have used Adware, CWSShredder, Spybot S&D and Hijack this...No help, here is the log. I am exhausted, I am sure there is a genius among us that can help me out!

Hi yoneltx and welcome,
sorry for the late reply, if your still looking to resolve this issue, I need you to do a couple things please,

Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it hjt
Move HJT into this new folder please,

Next rescan with HJT and post back a fresh log, No need for the Ad-aware log

If you have resolved this issue if you would please let us know,

Hi yoneltx and welcome,
sorry for the late reply, if your still looking to resolve this issue, I need you to do a couple things please,

Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it hjt
Move HJT into this new folder please,

Next rescan with HJT and post back a fresh log, No need for the Ad-aware log

If you have resolved this issue if you would please let us know,

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files. Do NOT run a scan yet.

Please run Notepad and copy the following text into a new file:

Save the file to the desktop as remove.bat and make sure the "Save as type" field says "All files".

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

For additional help in booting into Safe Mode, see the following site:

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on remove.bat. A window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Post the log from the scan here for me.

Then please run HijackThis, click Scan, and check:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

Close all open windows except for HijackThis and click Fix Checked.

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan.

I did what you told me. When I ran Ewido, after asking me to delete some files in the system32 subdirectory that it could not fix or quarentine, the program stop scanning and it did not give me an option to get a report. Now when I start windows, after I get the Windows XP Logo black screen, (where you see a scrolling bar with a green intermittent bar inside going back and forth) i get a totally black screen for 3 minutes and then XP loads normally. Looks like its looking for something and timing out. This never happened before. But after XP loads, I get a cfgmgr51.dll error. Anyhow, I could not get a Ewido's repot but here is the HJT report:

  Check Here on how setup and use it - please make sure you update it first.
  Run a scan with Ad-aware having it fix all it finds
  
  
• Restart your computer, Restart HJT
  
• Post back a fresh HijackThis log and we will take another look.

Please use the following suggestion to help prevent reinfection

Download the following program, For keeping crap off your system to begin with
Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests. Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox. Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Download Spyware Blaster

Keep Ad-aware and Spybot handy, Check them for updates prior to running and run them weekly
Same with your Anti Virus,

For an added check run an online virus scan, you can use one of the 2 below,
TrendMicro's HouseCall
ActiveScan

Be sure and give the Temp folders a cleaning out now and then as well, Make sure after you clean your Temp files to empty out your Recycle bin as well.
For ease use the following program
Download and install Cleanup
Run "Cleanup" and when it has finished, Reboot

Remeber to Check Windows for updates

Probably a good time to create a new restore point See Here Name it clean or something like that,

Don77, I am very thankful for your help and diligency. I only have one problem left. I had mentioned it before, maybe not malware related, but when I log in to windows xp, just before the blue screen with the users selection (i.e. administrator, guest, user1, user2), windows stalls for about 1:45 minutes. After the stall, it loads great. I think I must have erased something when I used EWIDO because it started happening just after it. Any ideas in how to fix it.
Another thing, I would like to donate some money to you guys, how can I do that?
