My Norton Antivirus has expired (which I can't get off of my computer if you can tell me how to do that too!) so I'm trying to load Avast which I use on my other computer. Everytime I do it basically crashes my computer. My computer scans, found a virus, I move it to the chest, it scans again, the screen goes black and I finally have to turn off my computer. Then it restarts and asks me if I want to restore it to a point which it is working from, I do and although Avast shows in my folders I don't think it is running (my other computer has the "A" symbol showing it working). I tried to remove Norton thinking it isn't letting me download Avast but it won't remove - it says I don't have the rights to remove it! Any help would be much appreciated!
