I am a huge fan of CCleaner
It is free, its a small install, always malware free. Ive been using it for temp files, startup items, and registry cleaner for over a year on more than 150 machines, and never had an issue with it. Its very easy to use and has a nice interface. Plus it always prompts to save your registry before making any changes, which is a very good idea, although I have never had to use a backup.

We don't recommend registry cleaners here, they are all mostly junk and wont actually improve your PC
If you do use one, make sure to have a full registry backup before hand. I would recommend installing ERUNT to be on the safe side

I use TweakNow RegCleaner, it is safer than ccleaners registry cleaner, i do not like ccleaner's registry cleaner as it attempted to remove good needed keys, TweakNow RegCleaner only showed registry keys that are safe to remove, i would recommend it, i found it on download.com and it is good.

We've had this discussion. Geeks to Go does not and will not recommend registry cleaners, nor will we support other people doing so. I see no point in dredging up a 9 month old thread simply for the purpose of doing so. I'm editing your topic and I'll thank you not to post any more reg cleaner recommendations.
