Hello!!

I have a little computer knowledge but not much patience and a
short attention span so bare with me. Thanks
I know that my computer has a Trojan virus on it and so I tried to
run the VundoFix.exe software to solve the problem. However it
went into reboot mode and is asking for a boot cd (that I don't have)
and is stating that there is a disk boot failure and is not responding.
Help!!!

Thanks for the response.
Sorry I didn't and I'm not really sure how to do this at the DOS
prompt. However I did try some other things and now I'm
getting a RUNDLL error message box that keeps appearing.
I've done some research and I think maybe I need to run
the Hijackthis program but I don't really understand how
to use it.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

OOOOO Seems like we're getting somewhere
THANKS!!! I tried the first two steps on the page and
it stopped the RUNDLLL error problem. I know that
the system is still not fixed and of course it's not the
system that I'm contacting you on. So I've still got
a few more steps to complete. But one question...
when Windows first starts it signs me on as guest
and the other users are no longer available. Also
Windows Mediaplayer will not allow burning and it also
doesn't connect to the internet. Any suggestions or should
I just proceed with the rest of the steps given under
malware cleaning guide.
