Hello, i've installed CS3 on my computer. so i've lured you in :)
My problem is that i want to change the directory so i can install it onto a portable hard disk...
needa take it too school so i can work on some assignment's.. my school is too budgo to buy licences

Any help would be appriciated.
p.s
I've looked threw the installtion process their isnt anything giving you the "Advanced Options" or "Change Default Directory" option or anything like that.

installing it on a portable drive wont help you. CS3 makes numerous entries to the system registry. In other words it will not run as a stand alone application.

aw okie.
So installing an OS on the Hard Drive then installing it would work..
not sure about this, u cannot boot from USB can u?
you would have to remove the HDD from the case throw it in the comp then do it from their?
