Ok I have a belkin F5D8321-4 version N1 Router. Looking to increase the max range of signal for G or N mode. Trying to pick it up to at the max I would need it would be 800ft. Is there any way to do that? I.E. range extender, or hawking Hi-Gain outdoor or indoor anntena. Have the latest firmware. Also tyipcaly how far should they usally transmit. Use to be at a house with not alot of wireless around so I could pick it up, now live in upstairs apt with alot of traffic could that be an issue mabe ussing same channel. Does anyone have any info on exstending or mabe a different router they have used or have played with. Ive tried setting by windows or out on pourch.
Thanks
