One of our users at our company began receiving e-mails with the normal spam advertisements that had her name in the from line. I told her to run a spybot scan and it found:

AdAware Alert-7 entries Malware

DoubleClick-1 entries Browser

RightMedia-1 entries Browser

We "fixed" all of these problems, which I have always understood to mean that spybot removed the files, yet the e-mails keep coming. I researched AdAware Alert and didn't really find anything helpful in a removal, so my question is: Does her computer have a malware infection or just normal spam? If it's malware, did spybot just not completely get rid of all of the files for it? Basically, where do I go from here? I just wanted to know if it was malware at all before I started in with a HijackThis log or anything.

Thanks!
