Explorer.exe crash after FTP upload

I am using XP SP2 with all upgrades. After opening FTP site with Windows Explorer and uploading files that I want to upload. In closing Window, explorer.exe crashes and restarts, loosing icons in the lower tool bar. Any ideas, this is the only time that this happens.
