I have read and downloaded the recommendations in read this first forum. The scans did not find any problems and my windows update is up to date.
I have this annoying ad.yieldmanager.com that hides itself but continues to pop up when I hit my back button particularly when I am using ebay website. Often when I click the back button I get a long delay before it goes back to the prior page and sometimes it does not go back but stays on the current page. I know ad.yield is involved because if I hit the drop down arrow beside the back button it shows that the last site listed is ad.yieldmanager.com. I have tried many times to remove it but to no avail. I run AVG free and update daily but that does not detect it. I frequently run CCleaner and Spybot but nothing gets rid of it.
