I'm terrible with computers. I'm trying to set up wireless internet with a router. I have local access, but no internet access. This is wha tI get from ipconfig/all I don';t know what any of that means, but if anybody could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it. And I'm sorry if I'm not following the forum rules, this is my first post. Thanks.

Strange. Some of the addresses belong to Comcast, and some (notably the WINS) belong to the University of Virginia. Stupid question: Are you trying to connect from school (possibly in a dorm), or from home? I know some schools (at least mine) really hate routers on their network and do their best to prevent them from getting connected, which would explain why local services work but there is no internet.

If this is at home, then the problem could be that you're trying to use your school's services (by a static configuration), which may be restricted to only being used from on-campus.

I'm not sure where you're trying to connect from, but am trying to point out the inconsistencies in the settings, which might be related to the lack of internet access. Of course, I could very well be wrong, in which case I welcome criticism.
