Need help to setup wireless LAN

Ok, I got broadband..
My Modem is connected to Netgear Router.
Then Netgear to CPU with a network cable.
I also got a ntgear adapter but don't use it so much.

I just got a laptop which i want to connect it with my pc (Share files/LAN) through wireless

My laptop has vista and my pc got xp.

Help me :)

Alright, lets start with sharing the files on the xp machine.

Go through this guide and follow the steps: http://www.practical...filesharing.htm.


Once you have done those steps, on your laptop you should be able to navigate to your PC share via the PC's name in Winodws Explorer:


\\YOURPCSNAME


Note: You will only need to go about half way through the guide stopping on this section: Hiding a Shared Disk or Folder

Let's say.. i want to share my sharing folder(the default one). And my XP PC name is HOMECOMPUTER
do i put \\HOMECOMPUTER...untitled.JPG
here you go a sketch hehe :) ( :) im not good at mspaint hehe)

where :/ but when i put that in (LAPTOP VISTA) it doesnt work..

It depends on the game and should not be too difficult. What game are you wanting to play on a LAN?
