also check your version of flash player...latest is Adobe Flash Player version 9.0.124.0 if you don't have it...go here

So I did that and then timed my boot up

3 and a half mins to boot into my wallpaper(desktop)

then another 2 mins till I could open any other programs

did you uncheck everything in the startup tab
