Vista Home Premium 64 downgrade to Windows XP

Okay well I have a windows XP Home Edition CD that came with my old emachnines computer that I dont use anymore. It doesn't say it emachines specific Windows XP. I just got a new HP pavilion Slimline with Vista Home Premium 64 bit. Can I install the XP on the new computer?

Someone told me to look at the sticker on the other computer to see if it was OEM. I saw no OEM visible. Then I looked on my new computer to look at the sticker and that one says Vista Home Premium OEMact
