The system has started rebooting itself for no apparent reason. I just closed Outlook and clicked on the internet icon only to have the system reboot. Earlier I was playing a card game and clicked on a card only to have the system reboot.

This started 5 days ago.

Hello nashnut,

Try to disable automatic restart and hopefully this will produce an error message with more details.

1.Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.

2.Click the Advanced tab.

3.Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings to open the Startup and Recovery dialog box.

4.Clear the Automatically restart check box, and click OK the necessary number of times.

5.Restart your computer for the settings to take effect.

It was not checked.
I checked it, clicked okay.
Then went back and unclicked and checked okay.
As of now, it's back to being unchecked.

As of now 9/2
Still rebooting.
