Have been battling the trojan-spy.html and coolwebsearch
Assistance with this would be greatly appreciated. I have already gone through the other thread steps. system just is not working right, ready to throw it out the window!

Other issues -
1) minimized windows not showing on toolbar
2) cannot do a system restore - keep getting "system restore is not able to protect your computer......." even after restarting.
3) downloading links in web pages not working. example: in the fix problem threaad I could not download the adware/cwsweeper/etc just by clicking the link
4) start page changes to http//default
5) for some reason in outlook express when I go to send a new message it tells me there is not enough memory

and so on and so on, pretty worn out now,

Hi John,

Close as many programs and windows as possible.
Also disable Spybot's Teatimer untill we are done.

Copy the part below into notepad and save it as unhko.reg

Doubleclick the file and confirm you want to merge it with the registry.

*Click Here to download Killbox by Option^Explicit.
*Extract the program to your desktop and double-click on its folder, then double-click on Killbox.exe to start the program.
*In the killbox program, select the Delete on Reboot option.
*Open the text file with these instructions in it, and copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:
